
Antenatal Care. In the practice, this service is led by Midwives. Midwives hold a first visit clinic on alternate Wednesdays to see women at about 10 weeks pregnant. They arrange scans at this visit. Follow up appointments at Wellesbourne are on Thursday afternoons.
A mixed clinic of first visits and follow-up is available at Kineton on alternate Wednesdays.

Appointments can be made through the receptionist at the surgery.
Asthma. A regular review is arranged for all patients with asthma. A fully qualified practice nurse is available for advice and review. Please ask your doctor for details.
Cervical Smears. Women aged between 25 and 65 years are recalled automatically every three years, or more often in some cases.
Counseling. Services are available by arrangement with the doctor.
Childrens’ Developmental Assessment Clinics. Held at Wellesbourne on Thursdays from 2.00 p.m. to 3.30pm and at Kineton on alternate Mondays between 2.00 p.m. and 3.00pm. by appointment. Tel: 01789 470818.
Childrens’ Immunisations. Reminders are issued to parents automatically at the appropriate times for immunisations. Appointments may be made for a specific time with the nurse.
Community Psychiatric Nurses. May visit you in your home by arrangement with the doctor or hospital.
Diabetes A regular review is arranged for all patients with diabetes. Please ask your doctor for details.
Dietitian. A dietitian visits the surgery once a month and sees people who are referred by the doctors.
Family Planning. All the doctors offer comprehensive family planning and contraceptive advice in ordinary surgeries. All our nurses are family planning trained and are happy to see and give advice to patients.
Medical examinations not covered by the NHS. E.g. insurance, elderly drivers, employment, by special appointment with the doctor. A fee will be charged for this and we have a list of charges in reception.
Minor Surgery. Some surgical procedures may be performed by arrangement with your own doctor. Dr. Read-Jones performs a more advanced minor surgical service at the practice.
Occupational Therapy. Occupational therapists and physiotherapists may visit your home by arrangement with the district nurses, health visitors or doctors.
Social Workers. Available at Stratford Social Services, 8 Rother Street, Stratford-on-Avon, 01789 269391. Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm.
Well Baby and Child Health Clinics. Run by the health visitors: Wellesbourne Methodist Hall, Bridge Street. 9.30 to 11 am. No appointment needed.
Kineton on alternative Mondays 2.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m.
