All our surgeries are by appointment. These can be made by telephone or in person at the reception desk. You may choose which doctor you would like to see but where possible we encourage you to see your usual doctor. Routine appointments are booked at 10 minute intervals.
Some shorter appointments are kept at the end of the morning and evening surgeries that can be booked the same day. These are for patients with urgent problems.
Wellesbourne: To obtain an appointment at Wellesbourne surgery please contact reception (01789 840245) between the hours of 8.30 am to 1.00 pm and 1.30 pm to 6.00 pm Monday to Friday.
Kineton: To obtain an appointment at Kineton surgery please contact reception (01926 640491) between the hours of 8.30 am to 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday.
However on Thursdays, please note that the surgery is only open until 12:20pm and does not re-open on Thursday afternoon.
Our receptionists are usually the first point of contact and are here to help you. They have a lot of information to hand and in most cases will be able to help with your enquiry. You have a right to be treated courteously, and our receptionists also have a right to be treated courteously by you. Please respect the privacy of other patients by standing well back from the reception desk until your turn.
A GP from the surgery is "on call" for urgent care from 8.00 am until 6.30 pm Monday to Friday. If you feel unwell outside these times you should wait until the surgery reopens if you are able to. If you think that your problem cannot wait you should call the emergency out of hours service via or Wellesbourne Surgery (01789 840245) or Kineton Surgery (01926 640491) numbers. The telephone will be diverted to the Out of Hours Service. Please remember that this service is for use in urgent situations only. The service is run from Warwick Hospital and this is where your call will be answered. The service is run by a specially trained team of doctors and nurses with the added support of emergency care doctors and nurses and other specially trained health care professionals. If you are not sure what to do and need advice you should call NHS direct on 0845 46 47. They are available all day every day. REMEMBER: For life threatening emergencies you should go to the nearest Accident and emergency department or dial 999.
