How to see a doctor or nurse

All our surgeries are by appointment - you can find out how to book an appointment here.

Named GP for all patients

The doctors at Hastings House Medical Centres have personal lists and every patient registered with the practice will have a named accountable GP.

Newly registered patients will be allocated a named GP when they register.

Reception etiquette

Our receptionists are usually the first point of contact and are here to help you. They have a lot of information to hand and in most cases will be able to help with your enquiry. You have a right to be treated courteously, and our receptionists also have a right to be treated courteously by you. Please respect the privacy of other patients by standing well back from the reception desk until your turn.

Urgent Appointments

A GP from the surgery is "on call" for urgent care from 8.00 am until 6.30 pm Monday to Friday. If you feel unwell outside these times you should wait until the surgery reopens if you are able to. If you think that your problem cannot wait you should call the emergency out of hours service via or Wellesbourne Surgery (01789 840245) or Kineton Surgery (01926 640491) numbers. The telephone will be diverted to the Out of Hours Service. Please remember that this service is for use in urgent situations only. The service is run from Warwick Hospital and this is where your call will be answered. The service is run by a specially trained team of doctors and nurses with the added support of emergency care doctors and nurses and other specially trained health care professionals. If you are not sure what to do and need advice you should call NHS on freephone 111. They are available all day every day. REMEMBER: For life threatening emergencies you should go to the nearest accident and emergency department or dial 999.
